MSMEs make significant contribution to country's total industrial output. Incentives like providing land or ready made sheds at reasonable price at a place with proper infrastructural support can be an important factor contributing to the growth of the sector.

  
Almost all governments are setting up industrial estates or industrial parks or product specific parks like Textile Park, Leather Park and Food Park etc. to attract entrepreneurs set up their ventures. Different type of incentives e.g. tax holidays & subsidised infrastructure & facilities like water/Power are also offered.

These new destinations are very helpful for MSMEs as they do not have to face land acquisition issues or infrastructure bottlenecks.
